Compact Skid-Mount Design

At 1170 mm × 1170 mm × 1030 mm (46.1 × 46.1 × 40.6 in) and just 141 kg (311 lb) dry, the Firefly is purpose-built to sit in the cargo area of a side-by-side UTV, ATV trailer, or light utility vehicle — where full-size fire units simply won't fit.

Davey Honda GP160 Pump

Powered by a Davey Honda GP160 single impeller pump — the same trusted Honda-powered Davey firefighting pump used across the Intelli-Spray fire range. Reliable high-flow output for fast first-attack suppression and structure protection.

400L / 106 gal UV-Stabilised Tank

A reliable and ample water supply for firefighting operations — the UV-stabilised poly tank resists degradation in harsh outdoor conditions. Sufficient capacity for first-attack operations and initial structure protection while additional resources are mobilised.

30 m / 98 ft Fire Hose

30 m × ¾" (98 ft × 0.75 in) firefighting hose with a specialised nozzle for precise control over water flow — allowing the operator to direct suppression accurately from a safe distance around the fire perimeter.

Solid Eco Foam Dispenser

Optional Solid Eco Foam® dispenser in anodised, rigid aluminium construction — built for long service life. One donut yields 4L (1.06 gal) of foam. Includes a box of 5 foam donuts. Standard detergent donuts can also be used as an affordable alternative.

Optional QSS150 Stainless Steel Reel

Upgrade to the optional QSS150 manual reel — crafted from stainless steel for unyielding protection against corrosion and oxidation in demanding fire and chemical environments. Ideal for operators in coastal or high-humidity regions.

What is the Solid Eco Foam dispenser and how does it work?+-
The optional Solid Eco Foam® dispenser is an anodised aluminium inline accessory that injects foam wetting agent into the water stream — significantly improving fire suppression effectiveness versus water alone. Each solid foam donut yields approximately 4L (1.06 gal) of foam concentrate. The unit comes with a box of 5 donuts, and standard household detergent donuts can also be used as a cost-effective alternative. Foam wetting agent is particularly effective in dry grass and leaf litter fuel conditions.
Can the Firefly be used on steep terrain?+-
Yes — the compact size and light weight of the Firefly means it can access steep paddocks, rough tracks, and narrow areas that a larger truck-mounted fire unit cannot reach. Its effectiveness on steep terrain is limited by the capability of your tow vehicle. Always consider vehicle stability and operational safety when deploying on slopes.
