Unlike conventional setups that consume valuable tray space, a tow-behind spray trailer keeps your vehicle free for other tools and equipment. How does the custom build process work?+-
Start by completing the enquiry form with your vehicle type, tow capacity, spray application, required tank size, and preferred reel configuration. Our team reviews your requirements and provides a custom specification and quote. Once approved, the trailer is built to your specification and delivered via your nearest USA or Canada distributor.
Why choose a spray trailer over a tray-mounted spray unit?+-
A spray trailer keeps your vehicle tray free for other tools and equipment — you can hitch the trailer when spraying and remove it when you need your tray for other work. Trailers also allow for larger tank capacities than most tray-mount setups, and the DuraGal galvanised chassis is engineered for off-road terrain that a tray-mounted unit would need the vehicle to handle instead.
What tank sizes are available?+-
Custom spray trailers are available with UV-stabilised squat or round poly tanks from around 200L (53 gal) up to 2000L (528 gal), depending on your tow vehicle's rated capacity and ATM requirements. The minimum practical tank size is approximately 400L (106 gal) for most spray trailer configurations. Our team can advise on the right tank size for your property size, refill logistics, and tow vehicle.
Can I add firefighting capability to a custom spray trailer?+-
Yes. Custom spray trailers can be configured with fire-rated hoses, foam injection systems (Solid EF Dispenser), and high-flow pump setups for rural property fire defence. If fire suppression is a priority alongside your spray applications, let our team know when completing the enquiry form and we'll design an appropriate combined configuration.
What is the difference between single and dual axle configurations?+-
The single axle has an ATM (Aggregate Trailer Mass) rating of 1995 kg (4,398 lb) and suits lighter tank configurations and standard farm use. The dual axle is rated to 3500 kg (7,716 lb) and is recommended for larger tanks, heavier equipment loads, or operations requiring more stability on rough terrain. Your tow vehicle's rated tow capacity will also guide which axle configuration is appropriate.
Can I specify a raised chassis height?+-
Yes. The standard chassis height is 585 mm (23.0 in) with 330 mm (13.0 in) of ground clearance. For operations requiring greater ground clearance, the chassis can be raised to 450 mm (17.7 in). Let us know your terrain requirements when completing the enquiry form.
What warranty does a custom spray trailer carry?+-
The UV-stabilised poly tank carries a lifetime warranty for units ordered on or after 1 June 2026, registered within 14 days, and in continuous original ownership. Honda engines carry a manufacturer warranty of up to 3 years. Bertolini pumps carry 6 months standard — extendable to 24 months with Quik Flush.
