Intelli-Spray Quik Attack QA1800 Slip-On Fire Unit — 1800mm Aluminum Frame

QA1800 —
More Reach. More Accessories. More Capability.

Australia's most trusted slip-on fire unit — used by agencies, government departments, councils and mines.

QuikCorp is Australia's leading supplier of slip-on fire units with thousands operational in the field. The QA1800 represents the mid-tier of the Quik Attack range — on a longer 1800 mm (70.9 in) aluminum frame that accommodates a 90 m (295 ft) fire hose reel and standard drip torch and jerry can holders, giving operators significantly more field capability than the QA1600.

Available in low-pressure or high-pressure pump configurations, the QA1800 comes with a choice of three foam dispenser systems — Solid EF1000, Dosatron (LP only), or Aquafoam FP135 (LP only) — allowing you to spec exactly the foam capability your operation requires.

  • 400L / 106 gal UV-stabilised poly tank with baffle balls
  • 90 m / 295 ft fire-rated Gorilla hose — nearly double the QA1600
  • Honda GX200 or GX270 engine — high or low pressure pump
  • Standard drip torch holder and jerry can holder
  • Choice of three foam dispenser systems

Extended Capability for Sustained Fire Response

The QA1800 steps up from the QA1600 with a longer frame, significantly more hose reach, broader foam dispenser options, and standard field accessories — designed for operators who need greater operational range.

Honda GX200 or GX270 Engine

The QA1800 uses a Honda GX200 (low-pressure config) or Honda GX270 (high-pressure config) — both proven OHV gasoline engines. The GX200 replaces the QA1600's GX160, providing slightly greater power for the longer hose configuration.

Low or High Pressure Pump

Low-pressure: Davey single impeller — 100 L/min (26.4 gal/min) at 90 PSI for high-volume suppression. High-pressure: Bertolini PA530 triple diaphragm — 40 L/min (10.6 gal/min) at 400 PSI for targeted long-range fire attack.

90 m / 295 ft Fire Hose Reel

Quik Corp RFR-3 self-guided hose reel with up to 90 m (295 ft) of fire-rated Gorilla hose — nearly double the QA1600's 50 m reach. Available in manual, powered, or remote-controlled retractable configurations.

Three Foam Dispenser Options

Choose from the Solid EF1000 (HP or LP compatible), Dosatron foam dispenser (LP only), or Aquafoam FP135 (LP only) — giving you the flexibility to match foam capability to your specific fire environment and suppression requirements.

Drip Torch & Jerry Can Holders

The QA1800 includes one drip torch holder and one jerry can holder as standard accessories — keeping essential field tools secure and accessible on the frame, ready to use without searching through the cab or toolbox.

1800mm Heavy-Duty Aluminum Frame

Longer 1800 mm (70.9 in) aluminum frame — acid-washed or powder-coated — with forklift pockets for easy loading and unloading. Certified mounting kit included. The additional frame length over the QA1600 accommodates the longer hose reel and standard accessories.

Frequently Asked Questions

QA1800 FAQs

When should I choose the QA1800 over the QA1600?+-
Choose the QA1800 when you need greater hose reach and more onboard accessories. The QA1800's 90 m (295 ft) fire hose is nearly double the QA1600's 50 m — critical for operators who need to reach fire or protect assets from a single vehicle position without repositioning. The longer frame also accommodates standard drip torch and jerry can holders, reducing reliance on cab or toolbox storage in the field. Both units carry the same 400L / 106 gal tank.
What foam dispenser options are available?+-
The QA1800 offers three foam dispenser options — more choice than the QA1600's single Solid EF500. The Solid EF1000 is compatible with both high-pressure and low-pressure pump configurations. The Dosatron and Aquafoam FP135 are available with low-pressure configurations only. Our team can advise on the right foam system for your fire environment when you enquire.
What is the difference between the low-pressure and high-pressure pump options?+-
The low-pressure option uses a Honda GX200 paired with a Davey single impeller pump — delivering 100 L/min (26.4 gal/min) at 90 PSI. This high-volume output is ideal for rapid suppression of large fire fronts. The high-pressure option uses a Honda GX270 paired with a Bertolini PA530 triple diaphragm pump — delivering 40 L/min (10.6 gal/min) at 400 PSI for targeted long-range fire attack, elevated delivery, and foam penetration into dense fuel loads.
What vehicle is needed to carry the QA1800?+-
The QA1800 is a slip-on unit for pickup truck trays. At 1800 mm (70.9 in) long and 220 kg (485 lb) dry weight, a half-tonne or larger pickup tray is recommended. Loaded with 400L (106 gal) of water, the total weight increases to approximately 620 kg (1,365 lb). Confirm your vehicle's payload capacity before loading. A full-size heavy-duty pickup (F-250, RAM 2500, Silverado 2500 or equivalent) is ideal. The certified mounting kit and forklift pockets make installation and repositioning straightforward.
Can the hose reel be remote-controlled?+-
Yes. The Quik Corp RFR-3 self-guided hose reel is available in manual, powered, or remote-controlled retractable configurations. With 90 m (295 ft) of hose, remote-controlled retrieval is particularly valuable — allowing operators to rewind the hose from a safe distance without walking the full length back to the vehicle. Specify your preferred reel configuration when enquiring.
