UTV 300L / 400L —
Stacked, Compact and Tough.

Full mechanical drive performance in a UTV-sized package.

The UTV 300L / 400L is Intelli-Spray's most powerful UTV spray system — bringing the clutch-driven mechanical drive found in larger system-range spray units into a compact, stacked design built to fit any UTV tray or side-by-side. Just because it's small doesn't mean it has any less grunt.

Built for farmers, spray contractors, golf courses, and parks teams who need to access hard-to-reach terrain without sacrificing the pressure, performance, or durability of a full-size spray unit.

  • Clutch-driven mechanical drive — same system as full-size spray units
  • Stacked design — maximises tray space on any UTV
  • Stainless steel reel and chain guard — long-life durability
  • Slip-on powder-coated framework — easy installation
  • Lifetime warranty on UV-stabilised poly tank
What Sets It Apart

Why Clutch-Driven Matters

Most compact UTV sprayers use electric reels and simple pump systems. The UTV 300L / 400L is different — it uses the same clutch-driven mechanical drive found in Intelli-Spray's full-size system range. Here's why that matters.

More Consistent Power

A clutch-driven system delivers smoother, more consistent reel operation than electric alternatives — especially under load. The mechanical connection between engine and reel means less electrical demand and more reliable performance throughout the day.

Built Like a Full-Size Unit

Clutch-driven reels are typically only available on ute-mounted spray systems. The UTV 300L / 400L brings that full-system capability into a UTV footprint — stainless steel reel, chain guard, and all the mechanical drive components used in larger Intelli-Spray systems.

Long-Service Durability

Mechanical drive systems are proven in demanding, high-use spray applications. With a stainless steel reel and chain guard, the UTV 300L / 400L is engineered for resistance to rough use and long service life in tough Australian and international conditions.

Full-System Components. UTV Footprint.

Every component in the UTV 300L / 400L is sourced from the same premium suppliers used across the full Intelli-Spray system range — no compromises on build quality to achieve a compact size.

Honda GX160 Engine

A reliable Honda GX160 motor with remote-mounted engine start delivers consistent power throughout the day. The motor's unique 10A output charges the onboard 12V battery — powering the reel and control systems without needing a separate power source.

Clutch-Driven Mechanical Reel

Stainless steel hose reel with clutch-driven operation and chain guard — the same proven mechanical drive system used in full-size Intelli-Spray spray units. Engineered for reliability and resistance to rough, daily use.

Bertolini PA430 Pump

Triple diaphragm pump rated to 40 L/min with a maximum pressure of 580 PSI and working pressure of 400 PSI / 30 bar — more than enough for a single hose reel with up to 100 m of 3/8" Supa-Slip® hose.

Stacked Square Tank Design

UV-stabilised square poly tank stacked vertically to maximise tray space — available in 300L (79 gal) or 400L (106 gal). The slip-on powder-coated framework allows fast, straightforward installation onto any UTV.

Karin Pressure Controller

2-outlet Karin pressure controller with gauge allows precise pressure adjustment in bar and PSI from the operator position — keeping spray output consistent regardless of terrain or hose length deployed.

Hard-to-Reach Access

Mounted to a UTV, this system reaches steep slopes, narrow trails, creek banks, fence lines, and dense vegetation areas that 4WD-mounted spray rigs simply cannot access — without compromising on pump performance or hose reach.

300L or 400L — Choose Your Capacity

Both models are identical in engine, drive system, pump, reel, and framework. The only difference is tank capacity and height.

Frequently Asked Questions

UTV 300L / 400L FAQs

What makes the UTV 300L / 400L different from the QS Range?+-
The key difference is the drive system. The UTV 300L / 400L uses a clutch-driven mechanical drive — the same system found in full-size Intelli-Spray spray units. The QS Range uses 12V electric reels. Clutch-driven operation delivers more consistent reel performance under load and the same durability as a ute-mounted system, in a compact UTV format. The UTV 300L / 400L also uses a stacked square tank rather than an L-shaped tank.
What is a clutch-driven mechanical drive?+-
A clutch-driven system uses a mechanical connection — via a clutch and chain — between the engine and hose reel, rather than relying on a separate electric motor for reel operation. This delivers smoother, more consistent reel performance and reduces electrical load on the system. Clutch-driven reels are typically only available on larger ute-mounted spray systems — the UTV 300L / 400L brings that capability into a compact UTV footprint.
What is the difference between the 300L and 400L models?+-
Both models are identical in engine, drive system, pump, reel, framework, and footprint — the only differences are tank capacity and height. The 300L holds 300L (79 gal), stands 940 mm tall, and weighs 130 kg dry. The 400L holds 400L (106 gal), stands 1040 mm tall, and weighs 140 kg dry. Choose based on your required run time and your vehicle's payload rating.
Will a 400L spray system be too heavy for my UTV?+-
Payload capacity varies by UTV model. A 400L tank with water weighs approximately 880 lbs (400 kg) when full, plus the unit's dry weight. Most mid-size to large UTVs — including Polaris Ranger 1000, Can-Am Defender HD10, and similar — are rated for 1,000–1,500 lb payloads and can accommodate the 400L unit. The 300L is recommended for UTVs with lower payload ratings. Contact us with your UTV specs for a definitive recommendation.
What vehicles does the UTV 300L / 400L fit?+-
The UTV 300L / 400L is designed to fit the tray of any UTV or side-by-side vehicle. At 1200 mm wide and 880 mm long, it suits most standard UTV platforms. The slip-on powder-coated framework allows straightforward installation without permanent modification. Contact your nearest distributor for fitment advice on your specific vehicle.
How long does a 400L tank last per spray run?+-
Application rate depends on chemical dilution, nozzle type, and target density. At typical weed control application rates, a 400L tank can cover 4–8 hectares (10–20 acres) per fill depending on target density. Our team can help calculate expected coverage for your specific application and chemical rate.
How does the Honda motor charge the battery?+-
The Honda GX160 motor features a unique 10A charging output that keeps the onboard 12V battery charged during operation. This powers the remote-mounted engine start and control systems without needing to connect to the vehicle's battery or carry a separate battery.
Can I add Quik Chem chemical injection to a UTV spray system?+-
Yes. The Intelli-Spray Quik Chem contactless chemical transfer system can be integrated with UTV spray systems. It allows safe, accurate chemical dosing without direct contact with concentrated chemicals — improving operator safety and reducing chemical waste. Mention this when completing the enquiry form.
What warranty does the UTV 300L / 400L carry?+-
The UV-stabilised poly tank carries a lifetime warranty for units ordered on or after 1 June 2026, registered within 14 days, and in continuous original ownership. The Honda engine carries a manufacturer warranty of up to 3 years. The Bertolini pump carries 6 months standard, extendable to 24 months with Quik Flush. The base product carries 12 months on parts and workmanship. See the full warranty policy for complete terms.
