Firehopper
Blazing a Trail to Fire Safety.
A rugged, dependable trailer-mounted firefighting unit built for rapid deployment — versatile enough to handle fire suppression, dust control, wash-down, water transfer, and more.

Firehopper —
Rugged. Dependable. Ready for Anything.
A multi-purpose trailer-mounted fire unit for rural properties and contractors.
The Firehopper is a purpose-built, trailer-mounted firefighting solution that goes well beyond fire suppression. Mounted on a heavy-duty galvanised steel trailer with a 50 mm (2.0 in) tow hitch, the Firehopper can be towed by any standard vehicle — quickly repositioned across a property to wherever the need is greatest.
Unlike vehicle slip-on units, the Firehopper leaves your truck bed free while still providing serious fire-fighting, dust suppression, and wash-down capability. Ideal for property owners, contractors, and emergency response teams who need a versatile, towable platform that's ready to perform in demanding conditions year-round — not just during fire season.
- Heavy-duty galvanised steel trailer — 50 mm / 2.0 in tow hitch
- 400L / 106 gal UV-stabilised poly tank
- Davey Honda GP160 pump — high-flow fire suppression
- 30 m / 98 ft fire hose with specialised nozzle
- Leaves vehicle tray free — tow and unhitch when needed
More Than Just Firefighting
The Firehopper is designed to earn its keep all year round — not just during fire season. One unit, many applications.
Firefighting
First-attack rural and wildland fire suppression — wildfire interface, structure protection, and property defence.
Dust Suppression
Suppress dust on rural roads, construction sites, and farm tracks — reducing hazards and improving visibility.
Equipment Wash-Down
Clean machinery, vehicles, and equipment in the field — without needing to return to a fixed wash-down bay.
Water Transfer
Transfer water from one location to another on the property — stock troughs, header tanks, and irrigation supply.
Landscaping
Water lawn areas, revegetation zones, newly seeded paddocks, and garden areas — wherever the hose can reach.
Liquid Fertiliser
Apply liquid fertiliser across paddocks and pastures — versatile enough to handle chemical applications beyond water.
Outdoor Cleaning
Clean outdoor hard surfaces, pathways, sheds, and structures — useful throughout the year for property maintenance.
Emergency Water Supply
Provide emergency water supply to remote locations — livestock, firefighting refill, or rural incident support.
Built Tough. Built for the Long Haul.
The Firehopper's galvanised steel trailer and proven Honda-powered Davey pump are engineered to handle demanding real-world conditions — fire, dust, chemicals, and rough terrain.
Heavy-Duty Galvanised Steel Trailer
The Firehopper's trailer is constructed from heavy-duty galvanised steel for maximum corrosion resistance and long service life in wet, muddy, and chemical-exposed conditions. A 50 mm (2.0 in) tow hitch makes it compatible with most standard farm and rural vehicles.
Davey Honda GP160 Pump
Powered by a Davey Honda GP160 single impeller pump — the same trusted Honda-powered fire pump used across the Intelli-Spray range. Dependable high-flow output for fire suppression, dust control, and wash-down applications.
400L / 106 gal UV-Stabilised Tank
A UV-stabilised poly tank providing reliable water supply for sustained operations. Sufficient for first-attack fire suppression, extended dust control runs, or full-property wash-down operations.
30 m / 98 ft Fire Hose
30 m × ¾" (98 ft × 0.75 in) firefighting hose with a specialised nozzle for precise water flow control. Optional QSS150 stainless steel manual reel upgrade available for improved corrosion resistance.
Solid Eco Foam Dispenser
Optional Solid Eco Foam® dispenser in anodised aluminium — converts water flow to foam wetting agent for significantly improved fire suppression performance. One donut = 4L (1.06 gal) foam. Includes 5 donuts. Standard detergent donuts also compatible.
Towable — Vehicle Tray Stays Free
Unlike slip-on fire units, the Firehopper's trailer mounting leaves your vehicle's tray completely free for other tools, equipment, and loads. Hitch it when you need it, unhitch when you don't — maximum flexibility across your operation.
