Frequently Asked
Questions.

Answers to the most common questions about Intelli-Spray products, ordering, remote systems, maintenance, and support — for operators across the USA and Canada.

Products & Systems

Are all Intelli-Spray systems remote-controlled retractable?+-
The majority of Intelli-Spray hose reel spray systems feature remote-controlled retractable reels — this is one of the core technologies that sets Intelli-Spray apart. Some models also offer manual or powered (non-remote) reel options for specific applications. If you need a custom configuration, contact our team and we can discuss the right setup for your operation.
Is Intelli-Spray the same company as Quik Spray in Australia?+-
Yes. Intelli-Spray is the North American export brand of Quik Corp — the same company behind the Quik Spray brand in Australia. The products are equivalent in engineering and quality, branded as Intelli-Spray for the North American market. All systems are designed and manufactured at Quik Corp's facility in Coolum Beach, Queensland, Australia.
Can Intelli-Spray systems handle all common agricultural chemicals?+-
Intelli-Spray hose reel and pump systems are compatible with most common agricultural chemicals including glyphosate herbicides, selective herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides. The 304 stainless steel reel drum provides excellent chemical resistance. Always check the chemical's Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for compatibility with rubber and plastic hose components, and flush the system thoroughly after use with corrosive or reactive chemicals. If you need to use particularly aggressive chemicals, contact us about upgrading to Desmopan or Viton diaphragms.
Are the motors electric start or pull-start?+-
Both options are available depending on the model and configuration. Important: if your unit has an electric start, it must never be pull-started — pull-starting an electric start unit can permanently damage the radio control board. If an electric start unit will not start, recharge or replace the battery. Contact our team or your nearest distributor for guidance on start type for your specific model.
How do I identify my Intelli-Spray model?+-
Check the silver identification plate on the machine frame — this shows the model designation and serial number. You'll need this when ordering parts or contacting technical support. If you can't locate the plate, contact our service team with photos of the unit and we can help identify the model.

Remote & Radio Systems

What is the range of the Intelli-Spray remote control?+-
Intelli-Spray's 915 MHz high-power remote transmitters are rated to operate over a range of up to 300 metres. In ideal open conditions, a range of 150 metres or more can be reliably achieved. Range varies with terrain, obstructions, and radio interference — dense vegetation, buildings, hills, and other 915 MHz devices can all reduce effective range. See the Troubleshooting Guide for common causes of reduced range and how to address them.
Can I still use my older 27 MHz remote system?+-
27 MHz systems are no longer manufactured. You have two options: continue using your existing system until it fails, or upgrade to the current 915 MHz system. The 915 MHz system offers comparable range, improved long-term reliability, and full ongoing parts and service support. Contact our service team or your nearest distributor for upgrade kit pricing.
Do the newer 915 MHz systems perform as well as the older 27 MHz units?+-
Yes — 915 MHz systems provide comparable range to older 27 MHz units and offer improved long-term reliability. They also have full parts and service support, unlike the discontinued 27 MHz range. The 915 MHz frequency performs well in typical agricultural environments including open paddocks, orchards, and rural roadsides.
Can two Intelli-Spray units interfere with each other?+-
Yes, if two 915 MHz systems nearby have matching dip-switch codes on their transmitter and receiver, they can interfere with or cancel each other's signals. Ensure each unit's transmitter and receiver dip-switch codes are matched to each other, and that units operating in the same area use different code combinations. Refer to your operator manual for dip-switch configuration instructions.
Can I use a different antenna on my Intelli-Spray?+-
Intelli-Spray antennas are specifically matched to the frequency of your unit for optimum range and performance. Using a different antenna can significantly reduce range. Always purchase replacement antennas from our range through your nearest distributor. Also note: when tightening the antenna, finger tight only — over-tightening breaks the coax cable inside the aerial base, which can reduce range to as little as 20–40 metres.

Ordering & Delivery

Where can I purchase an Intelli-Spray system?+-
Intelli-Spray products are available through our authorised North American distributors — B&J Trading LLC in the USA and Veseris in Canada. You can also submit an enquiry directly through this website and our team will connect you with your nearest distributor. See the Distributors page for full contact details.
How long does delivery take?+-
Lead times depend on product availability and your delivery location. Contact your local distributor — B&J Trading LLC (USA) or Veseris (Canada) — for current stock levels and estimated delivery times for your state or province. Complete the enquiry form on this page to start the process and our team will provide accurate timing.
How much does an Intelli-Spray system cost?+-
Pricing varies by model, configuration, and applicable exchange rates. Contact your nearest distributor — B&J Trading LLC in the USA or Veseris in Canada — for current pricing, or complete the enquiry form on this page for a quote from our team.
Where can I get spare parts for my Intelli-Spray system?+-
Replacement parts — including diaphragm kits, hose reels, nozzles, remote controllers, and consumables — are available through your local distributor. Contact B&J Trading LLC (USA) or Veseris (Canada) for parts availability and pricing. When ordering, have your model number handy — check the silver identification plate on the machine frame. If you're unsure about compatibility, contact our service team before ordering.
Should I buy individual parts or a full repair kit?+-
In most cases a full repair kit is the better option. Kits include all required internal components, ensure compatibility, and eliminate the risk of missing parts. For example, a pressure controller repair kit includes the diaphragm plus all internal components designed to fit all variants — buying individual parts risks incompatibility or leaving out a component needed for a complete repair.
Is a deposit required when ordering?+-
A signed order form is required to commence production on all machines. A deposit or payment in full provides priority in the build queue. Contact your nearest distributor for their specific payment terms and process.

Our technical team responds within 1 business day. For urgent issues, call +1 (469) 949-5786 during business hours.
Do I need to service my Intelli-Spray system regularly?+-
Yes — regular maintenance maximises system lifespan and reliability. Key maintenance tasks include:
  • Checking pump diaphragms and valve balls annually
  • Cleaning inlet filters regularly during the spray season
  • Flushing the system thoroughly after each use
  • Checking hose for wear, kinks, and UV damage
  • Lubricating reel bearings per your maintenance schedule
  • Replacing the remote transmitter battery every 3 months as routine maintenance
  • Checking fuses, relays, and connections before restarting after any extended storage period
Full maintenance schedules and procedures are in your operator manual, available on the Manuals page.
What is the warranty on Intelli-Spray systems?+-
Intelli-Spray UV-stabilised poly tanks carry a lifetime warranty. All other components are covered under our standard warranty terms. See the Warranty Policy page for full details. To make a warranty claim, complete the Warranty Claim Form.
How do I send a radio unit in for repair?+-

Contact our service team first via the form on the Service Support page to obtain a return authorisation. When sending the unit, include:
