A message from our Managing Director
As you are aware, the Coronavirus/Covid-19 has continued to spread to multiple countries around the world. We understand that you may have concerns around the impact that this could potentially have on supply of our products in Australia.
Firstly, we want to assure you that Quik Corp will continue to trade as normal. Our primary focus is to continue to deliver products and services on time and to keep our workforce safe, productive and secure during this unprecedented pandemic.
We want to make it very clear there have been zero cases of the Coronavirus infection within our staff or their families at this time and we will work hard to keep it this way. We are working closely with our major suppliers and partners to minimize impact to our supply chains, and at this stage, don’t foresee any major disruptions.
Our customers in the Emergency Services and Agricultural industries rely on the equipment we produce, regardless of external factors. As such we know we need to do as much as possible to continue to supply, while maintaining a safe working environment.
We have been closely monitoring and implementing the latest advice from the World Health Organisation and the Australian Government and will continue to do so over the coming weeks. Quik Corp has worked very hard over the past month to restructure our business to be prepared for this crisis. A wide variety of activities have been instituted to limit unnecessary human contact and rigorous oversight enacted to make sure we can deliver the above.
Our Management and Staff are wholly committed to ensuring we play our part, with social isolation and small designated work teams being created to limit exposure. We have also facilitated working from home conditions for many staff, to again increase personal space and decrease any potential for delay to our production schedules.
We are currently implementing the highest level of hygiene at each of our sites. Should you wish to visit any Quik Corp facility, please be reassured they have been thoroughly and regularly cleaned, and there will be products and facilities to wash your hands and staff will engage with you at a respectful distance.
Should you have a fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, headache or shortness of breath or if you have recently returned from overseas, we ask that you refrain from visiting our facilities in order to ensure the safety of all customers and our team.
The company is committed to ensuring our staff can feel comfort in knowing that we have solid back up plans in place if they are unable to attend work due to illness and will be providing new short term employment to assist those effected in this difficult economic environment.
Quik Corp will update all stakeholders as this situation evolves and whilst we appreciate these are challenging times, we are open for business and will continue to deliver outstanding products and service.
Thanks,
David Wardle
Managing Director
